My practice explores the field of tension between objects we can feel and touch and things that are abstract and beyond our reach. The cold perfection of computer graphics is crossed with tactility and sensuality. I use digital photography as a raw material to be alienated and transformed with a combination of computer programs and artisanal techniques. Though I'm creating a diverse body of work, the digital permeates all aspects of it. In 2004, I received the Thames & Hudson book price for my graduating show at the Royal College of Art and have since had numerous group and solo shows around Europe. I currently live and work in Zurich.
