So photography is like a stage, a black, universal space into which are placed: local actors and sets.
Is this black space neutral? No. We no longer live in a Newtonian world where space is empty. We now live in a world of relativity and quantum physics where black space gets a part as an actor in the play, where emptiness is teeming with possibility and the void can be stretched like a fabric.
